I am 10 years old. I live with my mother, father and my 13-year-old sister, Mildred. My parents, Ivette and Carlos immigrated from Mexico in March of 2005 because my mother was pregnant with my sister and my parents wanted us to have a better life and education in the United States.
I first started to play soccer when I was 5 years old. The first team I played for was Danbury Highlanders I played on that team for about four years until I was about 9. I'd like to think that I have gotten better since then! After the Highlanders, I played for Everton America Club. Now I am playing with ACC Academy and also my town team, Veracruz. In the past year, we have entered many tournaments and won mostly all of them.
Outside the field, I like to hang out with my friends and family.
I also enjoy playing basketball, reading funny books, going swimming and of course playing more soccer! I think my love of soccer started because my father who played soccer as well, really liked to play with me and I really liked spending that time with him and learning from him. My father and I always say we have soccer in our blood. My dad was so passionate about soccer, he used to play soccer back in Mexico without the proper cleats because they were not affordable so he tells me to appreciate what I have and I really do!
In 2018 it was fun watching the World Cup, I enjoyed it a lot. I also had the opportunity to meet Douglas Costa last year. He is now playing with Juventus alongside my favorite player Cristiano Ronaldo.
I can't wait for my journey to Portugal because of the warm climate and I know we will be up against very talented teams, which is going to be challenging for us. I believe this will make us better, stronger players.
I have such a big passion for soccer, and I cannot wait to see what the next chapter of my life brings.
